Windy Emu made this one, in the attic. Starts out breakbeat, gets wacky. I love it when we make James rap.
I recorded my verses late at night in the tour van, behind the Chateau, while Ultralazer was on a date and everyone else was passed the fuck out. James said he wants people to like it. Like in Brooklyn or something. I told him to send it to Brooklyn Vegan Magazine. The drums and the vocals that sound like a dubstep synth and the guitar and the weird glitchy computer sound and the echoing background sound are all Egyptian Art Strike just manipulated-as-fuck, from their song “2”. I added the bass and the hihat and the Leonard Cohen and the Madvillain. (DOWNLOAD)

Jesset aka Risk Taker aka Winnipeg Jest completed the first Egyptian Art Strike Remix on Tuesday. (DOWNLOAD). It blew my fucking mind. He has someheow managed to effectively utilize the chaos of their music, while crafting an eighties sounding slash 8-bit pop song out of it. Fuck. I almost gave up.
